On October 17th, 2007, after serving under others and building relationships within the Christian community, He was voted the third Pastor in the history of the Little Rock Baptist Church and his approach has been hands on and hard work. His vow to meet the church where it is and take it to where God wants it to be has resulted in tremendous growth both numerically and spiritually, as Pastor Henry continues to stress that while preaching draws people to Christ, it is teaching that grows us in Christ. The Bushwick church was renovated under his leadership and the membership’s cooperation, and then in November of 2017, Pastor Henry led to congregation in the purchase and renovation of a new edifice at 958 Glenmore Avenue, in East New York, to the glory of God.
With all his accomplishments, Reverend F. Craig Henry Denise’s husband, Little Rock’s Pastor, and a father to his children, two of which, Tatyana and Maya, are currently studying at Howard and Quinnipiac Universities.
He serves the Lord faithfully with the belief is if Christ can die for me, then I can live and speak for Him. His prayer is that the word that he shares is user-friendly, applicable, thought provoking and insight filled that grows the hearer, as faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.
